I love this place!!!! This is a small but lovely restaurant. If you like food that it is a quick, tasty and healthy food option, Toss Up Salads is the restaurant for you. The service was great. I was greeted with a friendly smile, very accommodating and friendly. The clerk was eager to provide some great suggestions. I ordered the Terri's Toss which was a vegetarian option and had fresh everything mixed in. This restaurant offers fixed menu as well as create your own wraps and salads. They even offer a gluten free wrap at no extra charge. They open early and offer great, healthy breakfast choices and smoothies. Put Toss Up Salads on your list of restaurants to try.

I go to Toss Up Salads all the time. I love that they let you choose your own wrap or salad ingredients, but I learned that they are better at choosing what foods go together better than I am. I could eat the chicken pesto wrap every day! And the Mediteranean Salad is also to die for. The food is all so fresh and the cold plates and forks are such a nice touch. If my rating was based just on the food 5 starts no question! My only complaint is that there have been a couple of times that they were busy and the food came out litterally 1/2 the size it normaly does-they offered to make me a new one, but I had to get back to work. (It should have been done right the first time).

First time visit. Ordered two salads and a smoothie. Both salads were worth the cost. One the two salads was actually really big. Smoothie was very refreshing. Will return

Wife and I ate here for Valentines day lunch. Wife had the veggie wrap, I had the falafel sandwich. Food was good and there was a nice crowd for lunch. Check the menu in the restaurant because there are more choices, and you can make your own by filling out a form at the counter. They gave us a free slice of tiramisu cake for Vday which was nice.

A friend recommended this place and the food was good. They had a good selection. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. The owner took our order and was quite friendly. Our order came out quickly and was fresh and tasty. I had the Fattoush salad which was very good. We also ordered smoothies which were ok. My only issue is that I didn't see anything saying that the food was organic and yet the prices were high. I've been to other salad places that served all organic and the salads were much cheaper. Other than the prices, this place was good.

I eat salads pretty often for lunch so I was psyched to see this location close to my office. The interior is pretty spacious with numerous booths easily big enough to accomodate a party of 6. I am glad that I arrived before 12 as a pretty large rush came in after me. I decided to go with the Parisian Lover's salad which is a delicious sounding combination Spring mix, romaine lettuce, grape tomatoes, grapes, almonds, brie cheese, tossed in champagne dressing. I did not like that adding "Grilled" chicken costs almost $2 more than adding "diced" chicken. The only difference was that the grilled chicken was put on the grill. I opted for the diced variety. My salad came out after a bit and I noticed that they had forgotten the brie cheese. No problem, I let the cashier know and she apologized and said the kitchen would send out a side. After about another 15 minutes and still no brie, I had to ask a second time for them to bring it out. In addition I feel they could have been a little more heavy handed with the chicken considering you have to pay extra. Once I received the Brie, I found the salad to be pretty delicious with very fresh ingredients. Overall I thought it was just ok for the price $13 salad including tip. I'd check it out again though just not regularly.

This was the best freaking salad place I've been too. The staff was really friendly and helped me decide between things. You can also sample things you're not too sure about. The five stars is definitely based on the food and staff. The interior isn't anything at all special but I don't really think that's important. Anyway, I don't remember the name of the salad I got but I switched out the mango poppy dressing for raspberry vinaigrette and added goat cheese. It was an extremely refreshing salad. Well worth your money. I'm so happy to have found this place.

I'd say this place is about average. We moved from downtown Miami, where there are plenary of locations for eating healthy such as juice bars, fresh markets, salad bars like the Daily. I was excited to try the salads so inmate here a few times. The ingredients were average and I could probably make a better salad at home. I would eat here if I wanted to stay on the healthier side if eating out was the only option.

This is the best place for salads! They have pretty much everything you could ask for in a salad! Just not beets because they are messy! Makes sense! Love the homemade dressings! Balsamic please?! Extra Egg too! Yum!

My salad was great, can't remember the name of it, but it had corn and beans and was a southwest style salad. My two big complaints are 1- SLOW!!!! I mean took us over an hour to get out of there. We ordered at the counter and waited about 20 minutes, then waited 10 minutes for dressing, 5 minutes for fresh fork, just too slow. It is close to my office, but can't risk taking over an hour again so won't come on my lunch break again. 2- Pricey! It was $35 for two of us to have salads and one smoothie. Seems outrageous for lettuce and veggies.

Great selection and price wasn't bad for what you get. I had an acea fruit smoothie and a chicken Caesar salad. Was delicious. Wife had a smoothie as well and that was yummy, she let me try it. Figured hers tasted better than mine but she didn't want to trade. Next time I'll try the berry smoothie instead. Was very good and we will be back.

I just cant enough of this place. I finally had the red pepper hummus with pita bread. oh my my! it was amazing. So tasty! I created my own salad and had the honey garlic dressing. Can I just say Wow! I had an explosion of wonderful flavor happening in my mouth. So far so good on this spot. Healthy choices are the best!

Clean, fresh and good. Nice choice of healty food. Delicious salad Try the lemon drop for good health

I've been here numerous times and loved it at first but started realizing that they charge way too much for the quality of food. I understand that they do a lot of organic selections there but I don't even order that stuff. I build my own wrap and it comes out to like 15 dollars. Nah. Love the balsamic though.

Very friendly, nice local place. Food was fresh and good. I have a chef salad and my husband had a wrap which he said was about the best he had ever had. If we lived in the area would be regulars for sure. Only complaint, they are a bit on the pricey side. My chef salad was just under $10 and it had maybe 3 ounces of turkey in it. Really liked that they have regular plates and silverware. But still, if I am in the area, will go back for sure.

Yummy, fresh, and delicious. Nutritarian's pipe dream :-) I had the Thai Salad and a terrific green smoothie. I will be back.

I admire this place so much because it helps with my lifestyle choice of foods. Their is countless varieties of salad and wrap also having the option to create your own of either, followed by any kind of fuel smoothie that they make infront of you.... This is one of my favorite places to eat. They deliver and lastly they are soon offering breakfast!

I wanted something fresh and light today. As usual, Yelp came to the rescue when this establishment appeared in the search options. It's not difficult to locate and it is clean and quiet. Upon entering, you are greeted by a standing board that displays the soups of the day. Today's options were mushroom brie, a vegetarian option, seven bean, the vegan option and butternut squash another vegetarian option. I know, I must be crazy to even entertain the thought of having soup on a HOT 90 degree South Florida day but hey, I like soup. The board also directs you to grab a menu. I did and unfortunately an associate wasn't around so I assumed that I should take a seat since the menus were and service and are rather large. I sat for a few minutes an an associate delivered food to the table in front of me and I was acknowledged. I then saw a few more people enter, grab a menu then head to the cashier's area. Ohhhhh, that must be how you order. There is not an "order here" sign displayed anywhere. I get up and line up behind them. I ordered the seven bean soup and the spicy tuna wrap. The associate informed me of a combo and I obliged. As I head back to my seat, I see that it has been taken by those who entered behind me, dang it! The soup (a cup) was quite delicious and seasoned nicely. The associate delivered my wrap and upon first sight, I found it to be small but it was a combo so I expected an equivalent of a half wrap. It was accompanied by a small side of tabbouleh. The entire meal was delicious and quite filling. They have four screens that show various shows and the associate keeps the dining area clean at all times. I believe there are about 3-4 of them who work here. Although, I wish the associate would have greeted me and informed me that orders are placed at the front, I truly enjoyed my experience and food and will return. I would have awarded a 4-star but service is important to me especially when welcoming new customers (former restaurant employee). There were only two other people in the establishment so she could have noticed that I was sitting with a menu and directed me to the front to place an order.

Showed up at 830... They closed at 9. Told us we could only have take-out! Very disappointed after hearing great things!

Ordered the black bean burger on a panini, taste was ok. Just seemed like there wasn't any real effort in making it. I also ordered a strawberry smoothie which pretty good. Staff was really nice, I might try it again

If it was based solely on food I would have given it a 5 stars! However due to understaffed it did take a long time to get the food out, not to mention my sons pizza came out minutes after we had received our food!! However the apple walnut salad was EXCELLENT!! Great salad place, I'll come back for sure

This is for a takeout order. I love a good salad and was excited to see this in the neighborhood but was so disappointed! First, the salad. I had a make your own salad with romaine, turkey, egg, artichoke, chick peas, & sun dried tomatoes. The biggest problem was that all the ingredients were whole or big chunks & thrown in the salad: 2 whole eggs, whole marinated artichokes, big turkeys chunks. Had it cut it all up myself-very unappetizing. Dressing was nothing special. I also tasted mushroom soup & it was so good that I ordered some. Too bad it never made it in the bag that went home with me. I did stop by the next day & ate it- really delish. Maybe I would pick up soup there but I cannot get over that salad. Tower Deli has the best make your own salad in town!

I live right around the corner from here & have always wanted to try this place. Today I was craving a salad so I figured this would be a great time to try them out. I got the Davie Cobb with tuna salad on it & it was AMAZING!! Everything was fresh & so tasty especially the balsamic vinegarette!

I started going for lunch at Toss Up Salads after receiving coupons by mail. Otherwise I would have not known about this little gem stuck in an unassuming plaza. Can't recall if I had the hummus with dill on pita but it was very filling and delicious; and the smoothies are great and kid friendly.

Delicious option for vegans or vegetarians. The food is always delicious and tasty. Awesome fresh juices too. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat.
(5)Marjorie D.
Great place. I had the newport salad and a cup of butternut squash soup and it was great. The prices aren't bad at all and the staff is extremely friendly. They are very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions you may have regarding their menu.
(5)Sandra R.
Salads are great a little pricey for lettuce I feel. The service was just ok, you walk up to the counter order, they bring you your salad and then you are on your own from there. There price point is a bit high to run like this, I expected better service, or at least a second visit after my food was delivered to verify if I needed anything else.
(3)Cheri B.
The place to go if you're in a hurry and you have any sort of dietary restrictions. I'm gluten-free and I'm loving this place.
(5)Melissa R.
The food here is fantastic, The avocado salad with tuna is my favorite thing on the menu. Their mushroom soup is fantastic as well. The food tastes very fresh, but I prefer to do pick up because the service is extremely slow. When I went with my two children, they brought out my sons wrap and he was halfway done with his wrap before we got our salads. The staff is lethargic and unhelpful, and they are so slow that I was tempted to get behind the counter and run things myself. I don't know how this place operates around lunchtime on a weekday because there always seems to be a crowd in there and half the people don't have their food yet. Not a place to go for a quick lunch, but very good concept and food. The service is really a shame.

I've been here a few times. . I've tried the chicken pesto wrap with diced tomatoes mozzarella and pine nuts is great. The hummus wrap with garlic kalamata olives and avocado is also a favorite. The salads are always served with very fresh vegetables and are served in very generous portions.

First time customer. Angry, unfriendly staff. Employees bad mouthing owner to customers. Salad didn't have enough dressing. Employee charged $1 for additional dressing? TV on Univision (Spanish). Employee refused to change to an English Channel; once again blaming owner. Food was decent. Service/attitude killed the overall experience.

I've been looking for a salad place for a while now and Toss Up Salads was my greatest discovery! The food is beyond fresh, and the service is great! Great environment, and delicious food! I recommend this to everyone!
(5)M.C. F.
The food here was really good and a nice selection of it too. The price point for the food was good, the only issue I had was with service. A young girl who showed no interest in the customers and lacked a personality. You seat yourself but have to go up to the counter to order. There should be a sign posted telling you that, because the waitress sure as heck did not. Overall I give the food here a solid 9

Good healthy food. Made fresh. Vegetarian and Vegan too - if you're into that - which is good even for those who aren't. Great for lunch takeout.

I have come to this place for a few years now and I do like it . There are also one of the few places that have a great healthy concept I specifically like the create your own salat and the portions are great but I have to say every time am disappointed with the add ons . The variety is good but you get so little you barley find it in your salat . I tried to double up on the add ons which vary in price but than my salat was over 25 $ I have heard the same from my friends I really would hope they could give you more than 1 spoonful of avodaco for 2.50 or 1mini mozzarella ball cut in four pieces I really like this place and they are very friendly But please put some more in for the money :)
(3)Christina M.
My favorite wrap is the Cool Cucumber: Tuna salad mixed with Strawberries and Grapes wrapped in a tortilla with romaine lettuce. The fruit and romaine "lighten" the heaviness of the Tuna. Really Good! Place gets pretty busy at lunchtime.
(5)Wendy A.
This was my first take out at Toss Up. This restaurant will go out of business if they don't clean the place up. The floors were dirty as were the tables. My salad was so average I could have made better at home. Very little meat and not cheap. Too bad because it's near my house.
